Beginning of School brings Traffic Congestion and School Buses
Public School is starting next week and with it will be increased school buses on the road. The first few weeks will be particularly challenging since bus drivers will be getting familiar with their new routes and children will be doing the same. It is important that we all pay close attention to this since buses will be stopping traffic to allow students to board and offload. Remember that the amber flashing lights of a bus as they prepare to stop is not a sign to speed up and pass the bus. Remember that children often approach the bus from both sides of the road. Hundreds of children each year are hurt or killed due to careless drivers. That is all preventable. Please contact us if you have been the victim of an auto accident that was not your fault.
What constitutes a personal injury?
The most common personal injury is an auto accident, but the broad definition encompasses any situation where a person suffers harm due to the negligence of another person or entity. Early identification of a personal injury is important to the legal process. Many serious injuries occur each year involving:
– Auto accidents
– Premises liability accidents such as injuries caused by a slip and fall
– Medical malpractice/nursing home injuries
– Wrongful death
– Work-related accidents
– Animal attacks
– Faulty or malfunctioning products (product liability)
